Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Congratulates Students Selected for Zonal Kabaddi Competition

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran congratulated three students from a corporation school who were selected for zonal-level athletics and kabaddi competitions on September 5, 2024.


Coimbatore: Three students from the Coimbatore Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School in Ranganathapuram, Central Zone, were congratulated by Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, IAS, at the Corporation's main office on September 5, 2024. The students were selected to participate in zonal-level competitions in athletics and kabaddi.

S. Izhayasri, a 12th-grade student, was chosen for the youth athletics competition, while S. Monisha and I. Joysmin, both 10th-grade students, were selected for the kabaddi competition. Commissioner Prabhakaran extended his best wishes to the students and encouraged them to excel in various competitions.

The Corporation Commissioner expressed his hope that the students would achieve success in their respective sports. The event was also attended by Ward Councilor Vidya Ramanathan and City Education Officer Gunasekaran.
