Coimbatore State Transport Corporation Introduces 'Link Ticket' Facility

Coimbatore State Transport Corporation launches 'Link Ticket' facility for long-distance bus passengers. For an additional Rs.30, travelers can use town buses to reach or depart from three major bus stands.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore State Transport Corporation has introduced a new 'Link Ticket' facility to enhance passenger convenience. This initiative was announced recently by the Divisional Manager Director Sridharan in a statement.

Long-distance buses with advance booking facilities operate from three locations in Coimbatore - Gandhipuram, Singanallur, and Ukkadam. To cater to the needs of passengers who book these buses in advance, the 'Link Ticket' facility has been implemented.

Under this new system, passengers can pay an additional Rs.30 over their advance booking ticket fare to travel on town buses from these bus stands to other locations or vice versa. This facility can be utilized when departing from or arriving at Gandhipuram, Singanallur, and Ukkadam bus stands.

Passengers can use this service on Coimbatore zonal town buses up to 4 hours before or after their scheduled long-distance journey time. To avail of this facility, travelers can either make a copy of their advance booking ticket or take a photo of it on their mobile phone to show the conductor.

This new 'Link Ticket' initiative aims to provide seamless connectivity for long-distance travelers, making it easier for them to reach their final destinations within the city or to arrive at the main bus stands for their onward journeys.
