Union Finance Minister to Participate in Various Events in Coimbatore on September 11 and 12

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to attend multiple events in Coimbatore on September 11 and 12, including a consultation with industry associations and a women's welfare program launch.


Coimbatore: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to participate in various events in Coimbatore on September 11 and 12. Her visit includes a range of activities from industry consultations to launching welfare schemes for women.

On September11, at 5:30 PM, Sitharaman will attend a consultation event with various industry association executives at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road. The Finance Minister is expected to engage in a two-hour discussion with the industry leaders.

The following day, September 12, at 10:00 AM, Sitharaman will be present at the launch event of Central Women's Welfare Schemes at the Hindustan College auditorium. During this program, she will distribute sewing machines to 1,500 women as part of the welfare initiative.

Later in the evening, the Finance Minister will participate in a BJP party event at the Kalappatti Gettimealam Wedding Hall. This event will focus on welcoming new members to the party and distributing identity cards. Approximately 25,000 new members are expected to join the BJP in the presence of Nirmala Sitharaman.

The Finance Minister's visit to Coimbatore highlights the government's focus on industry consultation, women's welfare, and party expansion in the region.
