Power Outage Tomorrow in Areas Served by Periyanaickenpalayam, Madampatti, and Devarayapuram Substations

Electricity Board announces power cut on Sept 10 from 9 AM to 5 PM in areas under Periyanaickenpalayam, Madampatti, and Devarayapuram substations due to monthly maintenance work.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced a power outage for tomorrow (Sept. 10) from 9 AM to 5 PM in several areas of Coimbatore due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at three substations.

The affected areas under the Periyanaickenpalayam substation include Periyanaickenpalayam, Naickenpalayam, Kovanur, Kudalur, Goundampalayam, Jothipuram, Press Colony, Veerapandi Idikarai, Sengalipalayam, Poochiyur, Samanaickenpalayam, Athipalayam, Govindanaickenpalayam, Maniyakarampalayam, Palamalai, and Narasimmanaickenpalayam.

Areas served by the Madampatti substation that will experience power disruption are Madampatti, Alandurai, Kuppanur, Karadimadai, Poonds, Semmedu, Theetipalayam, Perur, Goundanur, Perur Chettipalayam, Kalampalayam, Thondamuthur, Kembanur, Muthipalayam, Kalikanayakanpalayam, Pudhupalayam, Deenampalayam, Uliyampalayam, Thaliyur, Kulathupalayam, and West Chithiraichavadi.

The power outage will also affect areas under the Devarayapuram substation, including Devarayapuram, Poluvampatti, Viraliyur, Narasipuram, Kaliyannanthur, Puthur, Thennamanallur, Kondayampalayam, and Thendral Nagar.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power interruption.
