Free Physiotherapy Camp Conducted at Old Age Home in Mettupalayam

On World Physiotherapy Day, Relief Physio Clinic organized a free physiotherapy camp for senior citizens at Viswanatha Chettiar Old Age Home in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: In commemoration of World Physiotherapy Day, Relief Physio Clinic conducted a free physiotherapy camp today at the Viswanatha Chettiar Old Age Home in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore. The camp was specifically organized to benefit the underprivileged elderly residents of the home.



The medical team from Relief Physio Clinic, led by Dr. Kokilasri, successfully conducted the camp, providing much-needed care and attention to the elderly participants. The event saw the participation of 70 senior citizens, who expressed great satisfaction with the services provided.



The medical team, including Dr. Kokilasri and Dr. Fernandes Franklin, offered pain-free relief and simple exercises for various ailments common among the elderly. These included hand and leg pain, joint pain, and neck pain. The senior citizens were particularly appreciative of the painless treatments and easy-to-follow exercises demonstrated by the doctors.

The elderly participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team from Relief Physio Clinic for their compassionate care and valuable guidance. The camp not only provided immediate relief but also equipped the seniors with practical knowledge to manage their physical discomfort in the long term.

This initiative by Relief Physio Clinic underscores the importance of specialized healthcare for the elderly, especially those residing in old age homes. Such camps play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for senior citizens who may have limited access to specialized medical care.
