Hindu Samrajyam honored Yoganantham with the Annapoorani Award in Udumalpet for providing free midday meals for over 1000 days through the 'Hunger-Free Udumalpet' initiative.

Coimbatore: The Hindu Samrajyam organization conducted a Vinayagar procession in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district, combining religious celebration with recognition of community service.

During the event, the organization presented the Annapoorani Award to Yoganantham, a local philanthropist, for his remarkable contribution to the community. Yoganantham has been providing free midday meals for over 1000 days through the 'Hunger-Free Udumalpet' initiative in front of the Udumalpet Government Hospital.

The award ceremony took place as part of the Vinayagar procession, highlighting the blend of religious and social welfare activities. Shaktivel, the founder of Hindu Samrajyam, along with other officials of the organization, participated in the event and presented the award to Yoganantham.

This recognition underscores the importance of community service and the impact of sustained efforts in addressing local needs. Yoganantham's dedication to providing meals to those in need has not only helped individuals but has also contributed to the broader goal of creating a hunger-free Udumalpet.

The Hindu Samrajyam's initiative to acknowledge such social work during a religious procession demonstrates the organization's commitment to promoting both spiritual and social welfare in the community.
