Commissioner Inspects Stormwater Drain Renovation and 24/7 Water Supply Project in Neelikonampalayam

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS inspected stormwater drain renovation and 24/7 water supply project in Neelikonampalayam on September 10. He also addressed public grievances during the visit.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS conducted an inspection of ongoing civic works in Neelikonampalayam area on September 10. The visit focused on the renovation of stormwater drains and the implementation of the 24/7 water supply project in the locality.

The Commissioner first visited Angammal Layout in Ward 54 of the East Zone to inspect the stormwater drain renovation work. He examined the progress of the project and assessed the quality of the work being carried out.



Following this, Prabhakaran moved to Ward 55 to review the status of the 24/7 water supply project in Neelikonampalayam. He inspected the infrastructure being put in place to ensure continuous water supply to the residents of the area.



During his visit to Ward 55, the Commissioner also took the opportunity to interact with the local residents. He listened to their grievances and concerns regarding various civic issues in the neighborhood.



The inspection tour was accompanied by several key officials of the Coimbatore Corporation. Chief Engineer Anbazhagan, Assistant Commissioner Muthusamy, Executive Engineer Karuppasamy, Ward Councilor Bakyam, Zonal Health Officer Vijayakumar, and other corporation officials were present during the inspection.

The Commissioner's visit underscores the Corporation's commitment to improving urban infrastructure and addressing the needs of the citizens in Coimbatore. The stormwater drain renovation and 24/7 water supply projects are expected to significantly enhance the quality of life for residents in the Neelikonampalayam area.
