Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Urban District DMK Secretary, N. Karthik, ex-MLA, has issued a statement today (September 10) calling for widespread display of party flags to mark the DMK's Golden Jubilee celebrations. This directive comes in accordance with the orders of the party president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

In his statement, Karthik urged all DMK members within the Coimbatore Urban District to hoist the party flag at their homes, offices, and business establishments. This initiative is part of the grand celebrations planned for the party's 50th anniversary.

Karthik has also requested party workers to photograph homes, offices, and commercial spaces flying the DMK flag. These photographs are to be submitted to the Coimbatore Urban District DMK office by September 14. The secretary emphasized that this collective effort would showcase the party's strength and unity during this significant milestone.
