Grand Triple Festival Celebrated at Arulmigu Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple in Coimbatore

A grand triple festival was held at Arulmigu Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple near Narasimhanaickenpalayam bus stop in Coimbatore, marking the 2nd anniversary of Kumbabhishekam with various rituals and ceremonies.



Coimbatore: The Arulmigu Varasiddhi Vinayagar Temple near Narasimhanaickenpalayam bus stop in Coimbatore celebrated a grand triple festival, marking the 2nd anniversary of its Kumbabhishekam. The event commenced with auspicious music and included various rituals such as Vigneswara Puja, Panchagavya Puja, and Kalasa Puja.



The festivities continued with Ganapati Homam and Navagraha Homam ceremonies. Subsequently, the main deity, Arulmigu Varasiddhi Vinayagar, was honored with a 108 Kudam Palabhishekam (milk ablution). Female devotees participated by carrying Mulaippari (sprouted grains), followed by a Maha Abhishekam for the presiding deity.



The highlight of the celebration was the adorning of newly crafted silver kavachams (armor) for Arulmigu Varasiddhi Vinayagar, Mushika Vahanam, Visalakshi Ambikai Sametha Vishwanather, Nandhiyam Peruman, and Arulmiku Valli Deivanai Sametha Kalyana Subramaniyar. The event culminated with the Thirukalyana Utsavam (divine wedding ceremony) of Valli Devanai Sametha Kalyana Subramaniya Swamy.



The festival also featured fireworks displays and a procession of Valli Devanai Sametha Kalyana Subramaniya Swamy through the streets. Devotees from various areas including Narasimhanaickenpalayam, Poochiyur, and Pudhupalayam participated in large numbers to receive darshan. The event concluded with annadanam (free food distribution) for all attendees. The temple administration committee made all the necessary arrangements for this grand celebration.
