Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government's special scheme camp "Ungalai Thedi - Ungal Ooril" (Seeking You - In Your Town) was successfully conducted in Ward 1 of Coimbatore on September 18. The event, organized as part of Chief Minister's initiative, saw active participation from local officials and residents.

S. Ambika, the District Social Welfare Officer, along with Ward 1 Councillor Karpagam Rajasekharan, received petitions from the public. The camp aimed to address various concerns and grievances of the local community.

Residents turned out in large numbers to submit petitions on a range of issues. These included applications for women's rights scheme benefits, land pattas, road transportation, drinking water supply, and other general public concerns. The officials assured the attendees that all the petitions would be brought to the Chief Minister's attention, and immediate action would be taken to resolve the issues.

The event was attended by Corporation officials, Revenue Department officers, and ward members. The significant turnout of the public underscored the importance of such initiatives in addressing grassroots-level concerns and bridging the gap between the government and citizens.

This camp is part of the broader efforts by the Tamil Nadu government to make administrative services more accessible to the public and to address their grievances promptly. It reflects the administration's commitment to participatory governance and responsive public service delivery.
