Midnight Fire Destroys Rental Cookware Shop in Aliyar, Near Pollachi

A rental cookware shop in Aliyar, near Pollachi, was gutted in a midnight fire incident. The blaze consumed all items in the store, causing significant damage to the business.



Coimbatore: A rental cookware shop in Aliyar, near Pollachi, was engulfed in flames during the early hours of the morning, resulting in the destruction of all items within the store. The incident has caused a stir in the local community and significant loss to the business owner.

The shop, owned by Kasthuriraja from Aliyar, was located in a building belonging to the Public Works Department near the Aliyar Post Office on Valparai Road. Kasthuriraja had been operating the rental cookware business for the past year. Nagaraj, an individual who regularly spent nights at the shop, was present when the fire broke out.



Around 1 AM, Nagaraj, who was sleeping inside the shop as usual, woke up to find plastic chairs inside the store on fire. He immediately rushed outside and alerted nearby residents. The fire department was promptly informed about the incident.

Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and engaged in efforts to extinguish the blaze.



However, by the time they could bring the fire under control, all items in the shop had been reduced to ashes. The Aliyar Police Station officers are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

The midnight fire incident in the Aliyar area has created a significant commotion in the locality, with local residents expressing concern over the sudden outbreak and its potential implications for other businesses in the area.
