Mayor Receives Petitions from Residents in Ward 37 of Coimbatore

Mayor Ranganaayaki visited Ward 37 in Coimbatore on September 23, receiving petitions from residents for storm water drain construction. The visit aimed to address local infrastructure needs.


Coimbatore: Mayor Ranganaayaki visited Ward 37 of the Coimbatore Corporation's West Zone on September 23, personally inspecting the area and receiving petitions from residents for the construction of storm water drains in Kalveerampalaiyam and S.P.K. Nagar.

During her visit, the Mayor interacted with the local community, listening to their concerns and collecting petitions regarding the need for proper drainage infrastructure in the area. The residents highlighted the importance of storm water drains to prevent waterlogging and flooding during heavy rains.

The Mayor was accompanied by a team of corporation officials, including West Zone Chairperson Deivayani Tamilmarai, Ward Councillor Kumutham, Assistant Commissioner Santhiya, Assistant Engineer Savitha, Assistant Town Planner Kanthimathi, Assistant Engineer Vimala, Zonal Health Officer Veeran, and other municipal officers.

This visit is part of the Mayor's ongoing efforts to directly engage with citizens and address their infrastructure needs. The petitions received will be reviewed, and appropriate action will be taken to improve the drainage system in Ward 37.
