Mayor to Hold Public Grievance Meeting at Coimbatore Corporation Office

Mayor Ranganayaki Ramachandran to address public grievances at Coimbatore Corporation main office on September 24, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Residents can submit petitions on various civic issues.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation has announced that a public grievance meeting will be held tomorrow (24.09.2024) at the main office under the leadership of Mayor Ranganayaki Ramachandran.

The meeting is scheduled to take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coimbatore Corporation's main office. Residents of areas under the Coimbatore Corporation jurisdiction are invited to attend and submit their petitions regarding various civic issues.

Citizens can present their grievances and requests related to a wide range of municipal services, including birth and death certificates, road facilities, street lighting, water supply, underground drainage, professional tax, property tax, vacant land tax, new water connections, name changes, medical services, sanitation, education, and other basic amenities.

The Mayor will personally receive these petitions, and appropriate action will be taken by the concerned department officials of the Corporation. The public is encouraged to utilize this opportunity to address their concerns and submit their petitions for resolution.

This initiative aims to provide a direct channel for citizens to communicate their grievances to the city's highest official, ensuring prompt attention to local issues and fostering better governance in Coimbatore.
