District Collector Inaugurates Diwali Special Discount Sale at Coimbatore Marutham Co-optex Showroom

Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inaugurated the Diwali special discount sale at the Marutham Co-optex showroom near VOC Park in Coimbatore on Thursday. The Collector lit a lamp to mark the beginning of the sale, which offers a 30% special discount on handloom products for Diwali 2024 across all sales outlets.

The Diwali 2024 special discount sale features a wide range of products manufactured by weavers from various parts of Tamil Nadu. These include silk and cotton sarees with new designs, blankets, bed sheets, dhotis, pillow covers, lungis, towels, readymade shirts for men, salwar suits for women, organic cotton sarees, and export-quality home furnishing items.



Co-optex has traditionally been involved in silk product manufacturing. Silk sarees produced in regions such as Kanchipuram, Salem, Coimbatore, Arani, and Thanjavur are being sold at the showroom.

The special discount sale aims to promote handloom products and support the weaving community while offering customers an opportunity to purchase high-quality traditional textiles at discounted prices for the upcoming Diwali festival.
