Coimbatore: Panic ensued at Stanes Anglo Indian School on Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, following a bomb threat. An email received by the school claimed that a bomb had been planted on the premises and would detonate soon.

Shocked by the threat, the school administration immediately evacuated the students to safety. The city police were promptly informed about the incident. Police officers and bomb experts rushed to the scene and conducted a thorough search of the entire school, including the entrance, campus, and classrooms.

As news of the incident spread, parents gathered at the school premises, creating a tense atmosphere around the area. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.

This incident is part of a recent surge in bomb threats in Coimbatore. Two days ago, similar threats were made to two star hotels, and prior to that, schools in Ramanathapuram and suburban areas received comparable threats. However, all these turned out to be hoax calls.

The public has demanded strict action from the police, as no arrests have been made so far in connection with these threats. There is a growing expectation for swift identification and punishment of the culprits, as these continuous threats are causing fear among the people.
