Minister Senthil Balaji Inspects Rain-Affected Areas in Coimbatore

Minister Senthil Balaji inspected areas affected by heavy rainfall near Singanallur, Coimbatore. He listened to residents' requests and ordered immediate action to address their concerns.


Coimbatore: Electricity Minister and Coimbatore district in-charge Minister Senthil Balaji conducted an inspection of areas affected by heavy rainfall in Coimbatore. The city has been experiencing heavy rains over the past few days, leading to waterlogging in various areas and overflowing canals.

The Minister visited Kathiravan Garden near Singanallur to oversee the clearing of garbage accumulated in the waterways. Responding to residents' requests, he also inspected the residential areas in the vicinity.



During the inspection, local residents appealed to the Minister for the construction of proper roads and maintenance of canals to prevent rainwater from entering residential areas. Minister Senthil Balaji acknowledged their concerns and immediately instructed officials to take necessary actions.

The Minister was accompanied by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran, and other municipal officials during the inspection.
