Power Outage Announced for Tomorrow in Kalapatti, Keeranatham, and Pollachi Sub-Stations

Electricity Board announces power cuts in various areas of Coimbatore on October 16 from 9 AM to 5 PM due to maintenance work at Kalapatti, Keeranatham, and Pollachi sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced power outages in several areas of Coimbatore district on October 16 due to scheduled maintenance work at three sub-stations. The affected sub-stations are Kalapatti, Keeranatham, and Pollachi, with power cuts planned from 9 AM to 5 PM.

In the Kalapatti sub-station area, the following locations will experience power disruptions: Cheran Managar, Nehru Nagar, Chitra, Valliyampalayam, K.R. Palayam, Vilankurichi, Thanneer Pandal, Peelamedu Industrial Estate, Sharp Nagar, and Maheswari Nagar.

Areas served by the Keeranatham sub-station that will face power cuts include Varadhaiyampalayam, Idigarai, Athipalayam, parts of Saravanampatti, Viswasapuram, Varuvaai Nagar, Karandumedu, parts of Vilankurichi, Sivanandapuram, and Sankara Veethi.

The Pollachi sub-station maintenance will affect a wider range of areas including Pollachi Town, Vadugapalayam, Chinnampalayam, Oonjevelampatti, Kanjampatti, Nattukalpalayam, Erippatti, Periyakavundanur, Alampalayam, Anupparpalayam, T. Kottampatti, Puliyampatti A. Sangampalayam, Achipatti, Konganathanputhur, Cholanur, Jothi Nagar, Suleswaran Patti, Rangasamudram, Jamin Kottampatti, Singanalur, Vakkampalayam, Akilandapuram, Nayakkanpalayam, Karuppampalayam, Ambarampalayam, Jamin Oothukuli, and Nallur.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power outage. The Electricity Board has stated that the maintenance work is necessary to ensure the continued reliability of the power supply in these regions.
