Today (April 16), black flags were hoisted at the residences of CPI Western Zone Secretary N Chandran, 41st Ward Councillor K Shanthi Chandran, Deputy Secretary N Mohan, and M Baby (NFIW) as part of the protest demonstration.

Party members believe that the Union government's delimitation plan is against democratic principles. They fear that this scheme will adversely affect social justice and regional equality, prompting them to launch this protest movement.
