TVK Lawyers Celebrate Party's Victory With Fireworks at Coimbatore Court Premises

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam lawyers celebrated their party's victory in 108 constituencies by bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets outside Coimbatore court. The victory marks a historic shift in Tamil Nadu politics, breaking the traditional Dravidian party dominance in the 2026 assembly elections.

Coimbatore: Lawyers affiliated with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) celebrated their party's historic electoral victory by bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets outside the Coimbatore court premises today. The celebrations marked the party's unprecedented win in 108 constituencies in the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

The vote counting for the 2026 assembly elections concluded yesterday, with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam securing victory in 108 seats. This electoral outcome has become a major talking point in Tamil Nadu's political history, as it breaks the decades-long pattern of Dravidian parties alternately coming to power in the state.

Party workers and members of the public across the state have been celebrating Vijay's victory with great enthusiasm. As part of these celebrations, TVK's lawyer wing organized a jubilant gathering at the entrance of the Coimbatore court complex. The lawyers burst long strings of firecrackers and distributed sweets to passersby and vehicle riders in the area.

The celebrating lawyers raised slogans chanting "TVK TVK" and "Vijay is Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister," expressing their excitement and enthusiasm. The festive atmosphere at the court entrance saw widespread participation as sweets were distributed to common people passing through the area, marking what the party supporters believe is the beginning of a new political era in Tamil Nadu.
