IPS officer Allatipalli Pavan Kumar Reddy has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police for Coimbatore district, replacing Dr. K. Karthikeyan, IPS, as per the latest transfer orders issued by the Tamil Nadu government.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has appointed IPS officer Allatipalli Pavan Kumar Reddy as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for Coimbatore district.
According to the official transfer order, Pavan Kumar Reddy, who is currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in the Tambaram Police Commissionerate, has been transferred and posted as Coimbatore District SP.
He replaces K. Karthikeyan, IPS, who had been serving as the Superintendent of Police for Coimbatore district.
The appointment is part of the latest IPS officers’ reshuffle announced by the Tamil Nadu government. Pavan Kumar Reddy is expected to assume charge soon.
