Organisers of The Bright World of Metals 2027, comprising four major international trade fairs for the metals industry, held a press meet at CODISSIA in Coimbatore to brief industry representatives and invite companies to participate in the event to be held in Germany from June 21 to 25, 2027.

Coimbatore: Inviting industries in Coimbatore to participate in The Bright World of Metals 2027, organisers of the global metals industry event held a press meet at CODISSIA in Coimbatore on Thursday to brief the industry about the upcoming exhibition.

The event will be held from June 21 to 25, 2027, at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Andre Kilmm, Malte Seilert and Till Schreiter briefed the media about plans for the international event and invited companies from Coimbatore’s metals sector to participate.

According to the organisers, The Bright World of Metals brings together four simultaneous, quadrennial international trade fairs — GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST — covering key segments of the global metals industry.

GIFA focuses on foundry technology and modern casting processes, while METEC covers metallurgy, steelmaking and metal production. THERMPROCESS showcases industrial heat treatment and thermal process technology, while NEWCAST focuses on precision casting products and lightweight construction.

Companies from several countries are expected to participate by setting up exhibition stalls to showcase products, technologies and developments related to the metals industry.

Industry-related conferences and discussions are also planned as part of the event. These sessions will focus on the current state of the metals sector, challenges faced by the industry and possible solutions, along with emerging technologies, innovation and future developments.

The exhibition is also expected to highlight key areas shaping the industry’s future, including sustainability, green steel, energy efficiency, low-emission production, digitalisation, circular economy practices and automated manufacturing.

With companies and industry representatives from across the world expected to participate, the event will offer businesses and visitors an opportunity to gain insights into developments in the global metals sector and related economic and industrial trends.

Organisers said arrangements would be made to ensure convenient access to the exhibition venue for participants and visitors.
