Woman stages protest in Karamadai

Karamadai Tholampalayam resident Krishnaveni staged a protest in front of her husband's house in Adhimadhaiyanur in Mettupalayam on Friday.

According to sources, she went to her husband Manoj’s house based on a court direction that ordered her to stay at her in-laws' place.

She had filed the case asking that she be united with Manoj, whose parents were planning a second marriage for him.

When she went to her in-laws’ place, they had locked the house and left home. Krishnaveni, therefore, squatted in front of the house demanding justice.
