Railway Police seizes 40 kilos of ganja in Tirupur

Railway Police at Tirupur today arrested four persons and seized about 40 kilos of ganja from their possession.

The group, led by one Ramesh, was travelling on the Kollam-bound train from Vishakapatnam. They had got down at Tirupur railway station.

The Railway Police checked their belongings when they became suspicious of the group’s activities. Search yielded nearly 40 kilos of ganja, kept in a plastic covers.

All the four were immediately arrested. Investigations are currently on about the source and destination of the narcotic substance.
