Police personnel exercise their franchise

Hundreds of policemen and women attached to the Coimbatore District Police cast their postal ballot votes here on Monday. Polling booths were arranged at a few places in the Police Recruits School in Coimbatore, Perur and Karumathampatty.

Second Chance

Police sources said that the personnel who could not cast their vote on the day will get the second chance to cast their postal votes on May 13, before they are deployed for polling security arrangements.

The District Police also organised a flag march at Annur, Kavundampalayam and Valparai on Monday.
