Confederation of Indian Industry will work closely with government

Industrial associations here have said that they look forward to working closely with the new Government in the State. According to the Confederation of Indian Industry, “the landmark victory of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam strongly demonstrates the popular support for the proactive and inclusive governance of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the last five years.” The CII would work closely with the State Government to make the Tamil Nadu number one in the country.

Southern India Mills’ Association chairman M. Senthil Kumar has said in a press release that the victory is a remarkable achievement of the AIADMK in the current political scenario. He appealed to the Chief Minister to make Tamil Nadu a global hub for textile manufacturing.
