Doggy's day out for all breed international dog show at coimbatore

Nearly 400 dogs from across the globe visited Hindustan College of Arts and Science Coimbatore on June 6th for participating in All breed international Dog Show. The event was organised jointly by Anaimalai's Kennel Club along with the Salem Acme Kennel Club.

The International event had popular Indian breeds like  Rajapalayam, Combai, Kanni, Mudhol Hound, Chippiparai  and Rampur Hound. Apart from Indian Breeds the foreign breeds like Great Dane, Chihuahua, Miniature Pinscher, Chinese Pug, American Akita, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Pinscher, Beagle, Daschund, Saint Bernard, Rottweiler, Whippet, Afghan Hound, Golden Retriever and Irish Setter.

The international event was judged by C V Sudarshan, of Chennai, Yashodhara Hemachandra and Preetham, both hailing from Bengaluru and C A Martins, of Goa.

The dogs were categorized under 10 groups and then segregated into four categories of challenge certificate, reserve challenge certificate, best of the breed and reserve best of the breed. The best of the breed was qualified for the finals.

The show also honoured the  dogs rendering their selfless services to The Tamil Nadu Police Department.
