Exclusive: Monsoon showers wets water bodies adjoining Noyyal

The salubrious climate along with recent showers has reassured Coimbatorians of a good monsoon season this year. The fresh monsoon waters have touched all the water tanks adjoining the river Noyyal. The Chithirai Saavadi Checkdam has been dispersing water to all the farm lands and tanks around Vedapatti like Kolarapathy Kulam, Selvampathy Kulam and Muthannankulam.

The evocative sight of water flow at the water bodies has given a huge sigh of relief amongst the locals, especially the farmers. Depending on the rain patterns, the rest of the water bodies branched with Noyyal will receive moderate to good share of water levels, stated R. Manikandan, a vivid Naturalist.

Here are some exclusive pictures shared by Manikandan to SimpliCity via City Center.
