Child abduction in Erode-Palghat passenger express?


Today, the passengers of Erode-Palghat express complained of a child kidnapping to the child helpline authorities. 

Two woman were travelling with a new born baby in the Erode-Palghat passenger train. Their strange activities created suspicion among the co-passenegers, who deemed it as kidnapping and reported the issue to the Child helpline. The authorities contacted the railway patrol, who intervened in the issue and took custody of the suspects. 

Initial investigations indicate that they have adopted the child from a couple in Palaghat and after knowing the consequences of illegal adoption they had decided to return the child back to its original parents. The police have recovered the child from the suspects and admitted at the Government hospital and proceeded with investigations.
