Gallons of water getting wasted at Sidhapudur

The drinking water pipe leek at Sidhapudur main road towards GP Signal has caused fidgety amongst the commuters and residents. The on-going fly over work paired with the present water leakage has caused traffic snarls and uneasiness for the commuters.

Saravanan, a motorist stated that 'water leeks at such prime locations cause serious disturbance for the office goers as the slush gets splashed on dresses and shoes'.

Shanmugham, owner of a Rice Mundy at Sidhapudur stated that 'the water pipe was broken during TNEB'S cable works. And whenever water is dispersed to our area, the leakage becomes uncontrollable leaving the whole area slushy. We have reported the issue to corporation but no action has been initiated'.
