College students robs youngster at Knifepoint

A 25-year-old man working in local two-wheeler workshop was robbed yesterday at Knifepoint, near SNR college junction. 

Reports say, that two bikers laid him down and robbed Rs. 10,000/- and his mobile phone. 

The victim immediately alerted the incident to the police through the helpline. 

The accused were nabbed today morning after a frantic search by the cops, they were identified as Vaishnav from Rathnapuri and Stephen from Cheran Ma Nagar. 

The Police were startled to know that the accused were students of a private college, the police remanded and took them into custody.
