Saravanan (38) a resident of Edayarpalayam an alcoholic addict commits suicide.
Saravanan, had been very irregular to his work and spent whole of his meagre earnings on alcohol. His wife Revathy (32) and his family members were put in a lot of embarrassments due to Saravanan's behaviour. He regularly started borrowing money from his friends and relatives to satisfy his liquor needs.
Yesterday, as he did not have money to buy liquor he consumed poison at his house. He was immediately rushed government hospital but unfortunately passed away, without responding to the treatment. The Periyanaikampalayam Police have registered a case.
