New train between Coimbatore to Bangalore - Uday express ready for commencement


It's great news for the Coimbatoreans as their long pending plea to add an additional train to Bangalore is finally accomplished. Yes, 'Uday express' bearing number 22665 is ready to commence from 1st October. 

The plea was put forth to the Minister for Railways, Suresh Prabhu during his recent visit to Coimbatore, who gave an affirmative reply, as well. 



Uday Express (Utkrisht Double-Decker Air-conditioned Yatri) is a special overnight express with double-decker coaches. The train is scheduled to operate six days a week except Monday. Train Number 22665 will start from Coimbatore at 5:45 hrs (morning) and will reach Bangalore by noon, 12:40pm.

Coimbatore - 05:45 hrs

Tiruppur - 06:30 

Salem - 08:15 hrs

Bangalore - 12:40 hrs

From Bangalore to Coimbatore:

Bangalore at 14.15 hrs

Salem  -17.50 hrs, 

Erode  -18.55 hrs

Tiruppur -19.40 hrs

Coimbatore - 21.00 hrs
