Coimbatore bomb blast convict dies of heart attack at GH today

Abdul Azeer (49) from Karumbukkadai was convict in 1998 Coimbatore bomb blast. He was lodged in Central Prison in our city. 

It is reported that he had been suffering from chest pain and was under treatment for the past three months at the Police Hospital in the Central prison. This morning as his pain got aggravated, the Prison officials rushed him to Government Hospital (GH) for treatment. But unfortunately, Abdul died at the hospital due to severe cardiac arrest.



Following his death,  Police force has been deployed at the GH to avoid any untoward incident. However, Abdul's relative's have raised suspicion in his death and have urged that his post-mortem should be conducted in the presence of the Magistrate.
