Theru Koothu performed at Linga Bhairavi as part of Navaratri celebrations

This afternoon, hundreds of devotees gathered at the Linga Bhairavi at Isha Foundation to offer prayers. Today, October 8, is the 7th day of Navaratri festival. The Linga Bhairavi was decorated with Chandanam. The evening came alive with a performance a lively performance of Theru Koothu by Murugaiyyan of Muthamil Kalai Mandram. 



Theru Koothu is popular folk dance form of Tamil Nadu. Their performance at Linga Bhairavi was appreciated by the audience. As a part of the nine day Navaratri festival, Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi has plans of hosting a series of events and cultural programmes on all the nine days.
