Coimbatore Passport office to host Grievance Redressal Adalat on November 1

As a part of vigilance awareness week that will be observed from October 31 to November 5, the regional passport office made an official announcement to host Grievance Redressal Adalat on November 1 at the passport office in Coimbatore from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Grievance Redressal Adalat is hosted for the benefit of passport applicants residing in the jurisdiction of Coimbatore, Selem, Erode, Tiruppur, Namakkal and Nilgiris districts.

All passport applicants who have any grievance about their passport application are requested to attend the Grievance Redressal Adalat. Applicants are requested to carry with them passport application file number and date of application. At the Grievance Redressal Adalat the applicant must produce information like applicants name, father’s name, date of birth, current address and phone number, brief summary of the grievance.

In a press release issued by the regional passport office, it was stated that during the Grievance Redressal Adalat enquiries only from applicants will be entertained. Grievance from third parties will strictly not be entertained. The press release also stated that this Grievance Redressal Adalat is organized In a bid to help realize the dream of a corruption free India.
