City gets additional Munsif Court No:4 & 5 at the combined court complex

Today morning, Principal District Judicial& Sessions Magistrate R. Pongiappan inaugurated two District No:4 & 5 Munsif Courts at the combined court complex, here. The welcome address was delivered by M. Christopher, Additional District Judge. K.M Dhandapani, President, Coimbatore Bar Association, M. Loganathan, Secretary, Coimbatore Bar Association and other senior officials were present during the unveiling ceremony. 



Speaking to the press, Magistrate Pongiappan stated that 'Totally there are 3 additional courts inside the combined court complex and with the addition of these new courts No:4 and No:5, five additional courts will be operating inside the combined court complex. Close to 13,000 cases are currently pending due to the shortage of courts to handle those cases hence these additions have been made' he said.
