Jammu: Six civilians were injured in mortar shelling by Pakistani troops along the International Border in RS Pura sector in Jammu early on Thursday.
The shelling along with firing exchanges started late on Wednesday night, police said.
"After Pakistan Rangers used 82 mm mortar shells to target civil and Border Security Force (BSF) facilities in RS Pura, the BSF retaliated effectively using same calibre weapons," police sources said.
