Arya Vaidya Pharmacy celebrates National Ayurveda Day today with series of events

In order to commemorate National Ayurveda Day that is observed today, October 28, city-based Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam and Research Institute (AVCRI) the clinical wing of The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd hosted a series of events today at their Ayurvedic Trust Campus in Olmpus, Ramanathapuram.

Dhawntiri homam was performed this morning at 7 am. This was followed with the flag hosting by Dr. K G Raveendran, Medical Director, AVCRI. The hospital also conducted a free medical consultation camp as part of celebrating ‘National Ayurveda Day’. The camp was declared open from 09:30 am and it concluded at 01:00 PM today, at the same venue.

In order to spread the awareness about Ayurveda an awareness class on Relevance of Ayurveda in Modern Scenario will also hosted. An exhibition on dietetics and drugs was also organized by this trust.
