Coimbatore Collectorate is clogged with water on Grievance Day


It has been reported that several parts of our city are stagnated with water after the heavy down pour yesterday night.  Roads, parks and public areas remain clogged with water. The Coimbatore Collectorate too has not been spared. Water up to several feet has filled the premises. A team has been deployed to remove the clogged rain water from the Coimbatore Collectorate campus. High-tech suction pump sets and other equipments are used to remove the water from the Collectorate.



Today, Monday is the official Grievance Day at the Collectorate. This is the day, the public visit the Collectorate to file their petitions. The clogged rain water is causing a huge hindrance to the public who are waiting to file their grievances. However, the officials at the Collectorate are positive that the rain water will be drained from the campus soon.
