Members of Hindu Makkal Katchi petition Collector seeking action on those who oppose Modi's visit to Isha Foundation


Members of the Hindu Makkal Katchi, led by their leader Arjun Sampath today filed a petition with the Coimbatore District Collector seeking action is taken against those who oppose the Prime Minister's visit to the Isha Foundation.



In the petition members of the Hindu Makkal Katchi have stated that, “Prime Minister Modi is visiting Isha Foundation that is located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains to unveil the 112 foot fall Adi yogi statue. In connection to his arrival, Dravidar Kazhagam, Thanthai Periyar  Dravidar Kazhagam (TPDK), Marxist communist party, Farmers Associations are spreading unwarranted rumours against Isha Foundation and Prime Minister Modi. Communist leaders Nallakannu, Tha.Pandian, Mutharasan, G.Ramakrishnan of TDPK are misleading the people by propagating the baseless rumors through press meets'.

“While they is no evidence for their accusations, Christian Organisations and Karunya Institution are behind this false campaign. They indulge un such activities to create religious unrest in the society. Such accusations campaigns are pushed to people through  social media Campaigns and in sites like Poovulagin Nanbarkal, Savukku and Vinav'. 

The petitioners added that action should be taken against the people who spread false news against Isha Foundation and Prime Minister Modi.
