TECH BASH 2016 hosted by Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology

Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology organized TECH BASH-’16 a national level technical symposium. This two-day event was organized on October 6 and 7. Events such as paper presentation, project presentation, technical quiz, line follower robot race and among others were hosted as part of this symposium.

The session began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and there was a video presentation by the Sri Shaktians. Dr.C.Natarajan, Principal of the institution welcomed the gathering.



Dr.A.M.Rao,VP-HR Corporate,Satyam Venture Engineering Services, Hyderabad and Issac Patturaja HR. Manager, Sanmina Corporation, Chennai, were chief guests for the event.

Dr.A.M.Rao motivated the students towards setting and achieving their goal. “A student has to set his goal and he should be more focused and dedicated towards achieve his goal.” Dr. Rao said.  He highlighted the power of human brain and its capabilities. In his address he spoke of the human brain in the lines of the power of a computer. Commenting on the symposium, Dr. Rao mentioned that such activities give students a chance to demonstrate how they can put the knowledge that they have acquired within the four walls of their classroom  to use. He also stated that the technical symposiums like this one, make the students innovative and they also motive students to think out-of-the-box.



In his address to those gathered, Issac Patturaja emphasized that the career of an individual depends on his (the student’s) ability to learn and work. He motivated the students to have a clear vision about the concepts that they learn rather than memorizing from the text books. He encouraged the students to develop a positive attitude and improve their communication skills to reach greater heights in their profession.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr.K.E.Kannammaal Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
