Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global was officially chartered during a grand installation ceremony held in Coimbatore on Thursday in the presence of dignitaries and Rotarians from various clubs across the district.
Coimbatore: With a vision centred on humanitarian service, fellowship, leadership, and international collaboration, the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global was officially chartered during a grand installation ceremony held in Coimbatore in the presence of Rotary dignitaries, senior leaders, and Rotarians from various clubs across the district.

One of the standout moments of the event was the flag exchange ceremony, during which Rotary clubs from India and international districts exchanged flags as a mark of friendship and global collaboration.
The ceremony commenced with fellowship and registration, followed by formal installation proceedings and ceremonial pageantry.
District Governor Chella K. Raghavendran formally handed over the club charter to Charter President Kanagaraj T.
The event also featured the oath-taking ceremony of the Charter President, followed by his acceptance address outlining the club’s mission and future service initiatives. Charter members were officially inducted by Assistant Governor Dr. Senthilkumar N, after which the installation of office-bearers took place.
The ceremony was attended by District Governor Elect Marutthi, Incoming First Lady Mrs. Devi Marutthi, First Lady Mrs. Preethi, Past District Governors, senior Rotary leaders, and Rotarians from multiple clubs.
Felicitation addresses were delivered by RCC East President Vijay Krishnan, GGR Easwaran T.S.A., Assistant Governor Dr. Senthilkumar N, DD Sampath Kumar, PDG Rajashekar, and DGE Marutthi, who congratulated the newly formed club and extended their best wishes for its future initiatives.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Charter Secretary Ayswarya Lakshmi, followed by the National Anthem and adjournment by the Charter President.
