Three wild elephants crossed the road on the Valparai-Pollachi route in quest of water from the forest in the Puthuthottam Estate region. Motorists passing by halted their automobiles, fearing the elephants on the road.

Coimbatore : Three wild elephants blocked the Valparai-Pollachi road, forcing automobiles to pull over halfway due to fear.

The movement of wild elephants is increasing in the estate lands surrounding Valparai in the Coimbatore district.

Wild elephants escape the forest and roam about on tea plantations and along forest roadsides.

The influx of water into rivers has decreased as the impact of the heat has increased. And, because there is no water in the forest, wild animals move around in search of it.

In this occasion, three wild elephants crossed the road on the Valparai-Pollachi route in search of water from the forest area in Puthu Thottam Estate.

Motorists travelling by were forced to come to a halt because to the elephants on the road.

After a while, the wild elephants crossed the road and went to where there was water to drink. It drew a lot of attention from tourists. The wild elephants then went into the forest.
