Summer Camp for a cause

If you are looking for something that will keep your school going children occupied this summer, you can consider enrolling them for the Summer Blast summer camp.

This skill development camp is an initiative of the alumni of Avila Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School. This camp is scheduled to take place between April 18 and 30 and will be held at the school. All proceeds of this camp will be used to educate the under privileged girl child.

At this camp, professionals will train children in the basics of pottery, cooking and art work. Children will also be taught how to manage anger. Experts will also teach children communication skills, memory enhancing skills and behavioural skills too.

As part of this camp children will be taken to a dairy. There is a session on parenting for the parents of the participants. Registration fee is Rs. 3,000 per child and last date to register is April 14.
