Coimbatore Power Cut Tomorrow (19.09.2026): 13 Areas to Be Affected

Coimbatore will face a power cut tomorrow, September 19, 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm due to monthly maintenance work at the Coimbatore sub-power station, the Electricity Board announced. Areas without power supply during this period include Gandhipuram, Sithapudur, Tatabad, part of Avinashi Road, Mettupalayam Road, Circuit House, Air Force, Sukravarpettai, Marakadai, Ramnagar, Saibaba Colony, Poo Market, Race Course and Sivananda Colony. Residents in these localities are advised to plan accordingly for the day, as normal power supply is expected to resume only after 4 pm once the maintenance work is completed.


Coimbatore: A power cut has been announced for several areas in Coimbatore tomorrow, September 19, 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm, due to monthly maintenance work at the Coimbatore sub-power station.

The Electricity Board stated today that the maintenance work at the Coimbatore sub-power station will be carried out during this period, and as a result, power supply will be unavailable in the affected areas.

The areas that will not have power supply during this period are Gandhipuram, Sithapudur, Tatabad, part of Avinashi Road, Mettupalayam Road, Circuit House, Air Force, Sukravarpettai, Marakadai, Ramnagar, Saibaba Colony, Poo Market, Race Course and Sivananda Colony.

Residents in these localities have been informed of the scheduled outage in advance by the Electricity Board.
