Coimbatore: On April 1, BJP candidate Annamalai began his election campaign from the foothills of Marudhamalai Murugan Temple, after seeking blessings. He emphasized that this election is unique, highlighting the foresight of PM Modi's vision over the past decade. Annamalai asserted the need for over 400 MPs to support Modi for India's next phase of development, mentioning that there are no competitors to PM Modi. He criticized the stagnation of development in Coimbatore due to communist leadership and called for support from all party members to ensure victory.

Annamalai stressed the importance of visiting every home, claiming, "This vehicle is the only one heading to Delhi, and I am its sole driver."
