Coimbatore's Sundakamuthur Government Hospital Inaugurates New Casualty Block

Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11, with Anaamalais Toyota's CSR support, inaugurated a fully-equipped casualty block at Sundakamuthur Government Hospital on March 23rd, marking a significant enhancement in emergency care, with a project cost of ₹23,00,000.


Coimbatore: In a significant development aimed at bolstering healthcare infrastructure, the Sundakamuthur Government Hospital in Coimbatore saw the inauguration of a new, fully-equipped casualty block on March 23rd.



This project, completed at a cost of ₹23,00,000, was a collaborative effort between Coimbatore North Round Table 20, Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11, and the CSR initiative of Anaamalais Toyota.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries including C.S Vigneswar, Managing Director of Anaamalais Toyota; Sundar Ramakrishnan, Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust; and Pankaj Bhaiya, Chairman of Round Table India Area 7. Their presence underscored the importance of community and corporate involvement in enhancing public healthcare facilities.



This new casualty block is a testament to the collective effort of the community and corporate sector in improving emergency care services for the residents of Coimbatore. The facility is expected to significantly improve the hospital’s capacity to handle emergencies, offering timely and efficient healthcare services to those in need.
