BJP State Leader Annamalai, during his campaign in the Coimbatore North constituency, promised the establishment of a Textile Park in Somanur and detailed various development initiatives including improvements in agriculture, water management, and the introduction of Navodaya Schools.

Coimbatore: In a recent outreach campaign within the Coimbatore North constituency, BJP State Leader Annamalai laid out an ambitious plan for the region's development, with a significant promise to set up a Textile Park in Somanur.

Addressing the public at Karumathampatti, Annamalai highlighted the increase in issues related to power looms post the DMK government's tenure, the adverse impact on agriculture, and inadequate water management in the area.

Annamalai assured the textile workers that a Yarn Bank would be established, aimed at benefiting the weavers by ensuring the availability of essential materials. This initiative is expected to be implemented on a war footing. Furthermore, he promised the introduction of four Navodaya Schools within the constituency, signifying a substantial investment in education by spending ₹88,000 by the central government.

Under the PM Shree Scheme, all government schools in the constituency will see a quality uplift, ensuring higher educational standards. Annamalai also mentioned the upgrade of the Somanur railway station under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, indicating a comprehensive development approach for the region.

Emphasizing the BJP's commitment to resolving all prevalent issues upon their MP's election, Annamalai appealed to the constituents to utilize his services for the next five years, positioning himself as a dedicated servant for the region's progress.
