AJK College of Arts and Science Celebrates 17th College and Sports Day

AJK College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore celebrated its 17th College Day and Sports Day on 4th April 2024, with former DGP Dr.C. Sylendra Babu as the chief guest. The event featured the distribution of offer letters, prize awards, and a captivating performance by Malayalam rap sensation Baby Jean.


Coimbatore: AJK College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), a prestigious A+ Accredited institution by NAAC, marked its 17th College Day and Sports Day on 4th April 2024 in a grand celebration.



The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr.C. Sylendra Babu IPS (Retd.), former DGP/Head of Police Force of Tamil Nadu, as the chief guest.



In a significant gesture, Dr. Babu distributed offer letters to the final-year students and awarded prizes to the victors of various sports competitions.

During his inaugural speech, Dr. C. Sylendra Babu inspired the students by encouraging participation in sports and sharing motivational insights on career and life. The ceremony was presided over by Prof Dr Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, Secretary of AJK College of Arts and Science and Vice Chancellor Convenor Committee Member at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

Dr. S Raju, Principal of AJK College of Arts and Science, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the college’s achievements and advancements throughout the year. The celebration reached its zenith when Malayalam rap sensation Baby Jean took the stage. Known for his popularity on social media and his status as a youth icon, Baby Jean delivered an electrifying performance.



His hit songs captivated the audience, creating an atmosphere of excitement and joy among the students as they danced and celebrated the memorable day.
