Annamalai Visits Kovai Kovanur, Engages in Extensive Campaigning Amid Lok Sabha Candidate

BJP State President Annamalai visited Kovai Kovanur, engaged with locals, and dined at a Dalit resident’s house. His campaign included temple visits, solving local issues, and meeting with community members.

Coimbatore: BJP State President and Coimbatore Lok Sabha candidate Annamalai kicked off his campaign today after visiting the Perumal Temple in Kovai Kovanur.

He paid his respects at the Ambedkar statue with floral tributes. During his rounds, Annamalai interacted with the locals, addressing their concerns and emphasizing the need for stronger performance in the upcoming Parliamentary session.

Speaking to the residents, Annamalai stressed the necessity of hard work to bring prosperity to Coimbatore and secure a significant position in the next Parliament for Coimbatore's constituency. He criticized the current representatives for not matching the development pace set by Prime Minister Modi, who, despite his long-term efforts, hasn’t seen equivalent local support. Annamalai promised that, under Modi's continued leadership, he aims to bring comprehensive development to Coimbatore within five years.

Highlighting local issues, Annamalai assured that the longstanding brick kiln problem will be resolved soon and criticized DMK Government's inefficiency in promoting local employment and infrastructural development. He committed to providing job opportunities for educated youth locally and to constructing roads in villages like Palamalai, which still lack proper infrastructure.

He also proposed the development of sports facilities in maternal villages and plans to solve agricultural water issues by cleaning and restoring the local tanks and lakes.

Continuing his vigorous campaign, Annamalai visited neighboring areas like Naickenpalayam, Koodalur Countampalayam, Periyanayakkanpalayam, and N.G.G.O. Colony, where his campaign was met with significant support.

He also dined with local residents, Anandhi's family, from the Scheduled Castes community, demonstrating his grassroots engagement ethos.

He concluded the day by addressing a gathering, encouraging community members to support him in the elections to resolve their issues more effectively.
